November 30 marked the 9th anniversary of Evel Knievel’s death.
Knievel was a legendary motorcycle stunt rider who left behind an incredible legacy. His name has become synonymous with daredevil. Undoubtedly, he paved the way for countless stunt riders and thrill seekers (Robbie Maddison being one of them).
Knievel was famed for making incredibly long jumps on a motorcycle. He broke many bikes, just as many, if not more bones attempting jumps. He persevered throughout a physically punishing career; by its end, he had a titanium hip, aluminum plates in his arms, but maintained a steely resolve and a fiercededication to stunt riding.
